The second day of the meeting of Latin American organizations that work with Oxfam's Raising Her Voices Project was really interesting, due to the fact that the latest advances, of the different projects, were presented, something that I saw very fit, since many of the strategies that have been valuable in other countries can be used as an example for the development of work in Guatemala. To share experiences, strategies, points of view and other things, I think, enriched our own plans, which will have to be revitalized with all those experiences, hits and mistakes of the other countries. They are also a good way to improve our work by comparing the potentials every organization has as part of a major regional project, in order to promote success for every team work.
Another point evidenced were the similarities between countries like Guatemala and Bolivia, and the difficult issues faced by each one, Honduras in particular, and that, difficulties notwithstanding, people that work in these organizations have all the good will to work to help that women voices across the continent can be heard, and loudly. An I think this tendency will extend everywhere more so.
And, exercising in making something really big at a regional level was one of the most rewarding moments of this meeting, because it left us concerned and willing to further our commitment for working united, using all the advantages that technology has to offer, to attain success in all of our endeavours.
